The Shop W. J. Castle, Burford is set in one of the towns historic buildings. The building is an old Timber Framed building, which can be found just opposite the 'Tolsey', (Where the towns traders, once paid their fees for trading in the town.) about halfway down the High Street on the right-hand side facing down the hill.
A well established shop in the community, the building retains it's 'Olde-world' character. Although the shop has been modernised over the years, the scheme is in keeping with the building and blends seamlessly with the towns history. You can always be assured of a warm and friendly welcome at the shop. Manager, Graham Drinkwater and his team of staff are always on hand to help. ~~~ |
